Reclaimed Water Treatment System

Apr. 28, 2019

This blog is about the water treatment system.

Reclaimed Water Treatment System

Domestic sewage is regarded as a water source and treated properly as miscellaneous water. Its water quality index is between the upper water and the lower water, which is called reclaimed water. The corresponding technology is called reclaimed water technology.

The treated reclaimed water can be used for toilet flushing, garden irrigation, road cleaning, urban fountains, etc. For water shortage areas where freshwater resources are scarce and urban water supply is seriously insufficient, the adoption of reclaimed water technology can not only save water sources, but also make sewage harmless. It is an important way to prevent and control water pollution. It is also new technology and technology that will be popularized in China and in the future for a long time.

Concept

Reclaimed water mainly refers to non-drinking water which can be reused in a certain range after urban sewage or domestic sewage treatment has reached a certain water quality standard. Its water quality is between the upper water and the lower water. Reclaimed water reuse is to treat urban sewage as a renewable resource.

Because of the stable water quantity and economic investment in infrastructure, many countries use reclaimed water as the optimal solution to solve the problem of water shortage.

Therefore, carrying out reclaimed water reuse shows the dual effects of open source and pollution reduction.

The Johnson screen (wedge wire screen) produced by ZHEHAN filter element company has become the most popular product in the water treatment and filtration system in China.

Johnson mesh (wedge wire screen) has become an indispensable filter product in the water treatment industry because of its characteristics of not easy clogging, easy cleaning and pressure reduction.

Types Of Reclaimed Water System

1. Reclaimed water reuse system for unit buildings in areas with perfect drainage facilities. The source of reclaimed water in the system comes from miscellaneous water and high-quality miscellaneous drainage in the system. The drainage is treated by collecting water for washing toilets, cleaning cars and greening in buildings.

The treatment facilities can be located in or near the exterior of the building according to the conditions.

2. Reclaimed water reuse system of unit buildings in areas with imperfect drainage facilities. In areas with imperfect urban drainage system, its water treatment facilities can not meet the secondary treatment standards. Reclaimed water reuse can reduce the re-pollution of sewage to local rivers.

The water source in the system comes from the building's tough drainage purification tank (such as sedimentation tank, septic tank, degreasing tank, etc.), and the water in the tank is the total domestic sewage. The treatment facilities of the system can be installed indoors or outdoors according to the conditions.

3. Reclaimed water reuse system in small area buildings

The reclaimed water source of the system comes from the miscellaneous drainage produced by the buildings in the building district. This system can be used in residential areas, schools and organ and group courtyards. The treatment facilities are placed in the residential area.

4. Reclaimed water reuse system in regional buildings

The system features secondary sewage treatment facilities in a small area. The water source in the region can be treated by municipal sewage treatment plants or industrial wastewater, which can be transported to the regional water treatment station for further treatment of toilet flushing and greening in the building.

Uses Of Reclaimed Water Recovery

Reclaimed water reuse

Reclaimed water can be reused for two purposes:

One is to treat it to the level of drinking water, that is, to realize the direct recycling of water resources, which is suitable for areas where water resources are extremely scarce, with high investment and complex technology.

Secondly, it is treated to the extent of non-drinking water. It is mainly used for water without direct contact with human bodies, such as washing toilets in buildings, greening and sprinkling, fire fighting and so on. This is our usual way of reclaimed water treatment.

The selection of reclaimed water treatment process depends on the quantity, quality and use requirements of reclaimed water sources, which are generally divided into:

(1) The process of reclaimed water treatment equipment with high-quality miscellaneous drainage as the water source is as follows: raw water grid regulating pond physicochemical treatment filter disinfection reclaimed water.

(2) The process of reclaimed water treatment with general miscellaneous drainage as the water source is as follows: raw water grid regulating tank biological treatment sedimentation tank filter tank disinfection reclaimed water.

(3) The process of reclaimed water treatment with domestic sewage as the medium water source is as follows: raw water grid regulating pond secondary biological treatment sedimentation pond filter pond disinfection reclaimed water.

Reclaimed water reuse equipment can be applied to domestic sewage and some industrial sewage such as living quarters, supermarkets, building districts, hotels, sanatoriums, hotels, complex buildings, etc.

After treatment, the reclaimed water can be used for washing toilets, automobiles, road greening, irrigating green space and compensating boiler water, hotels, hotels, office buildings, institutions, factories, mines, enterprises, finance, telecommunications, power, postal, coal, metallurgy, chemical industry, textiles, printing and dyeing, wine-making, pharmaceutical, starch, beer, food, paper and other industries.

Reclaimed Water Treatment System Scheme

Scheme: reuse after secondary treatment

Characteristic:

(1) It belongs to the traditional treatment form with mature technology, small sludge output, and less equipment investment.

(2) Domestic sewage (excluding feces) should be used as a water source, requiring the separation of feces and sewage.

(3) The seasonal and hourly discharge of raw water varies greatly and the water balance is difficult.

(4) The effluent water quality can only meet the requirements of flushing toilets and greening.
