From the development trend of solid-liquid separation technology, the purpose of solid-liquid separation technology research is to shorten the whole downstream engineering process and improve the efficiency of a single operation. The previous piecemeal method is time-consuming, laborious, ineffective and cannot keep up with the pace of development.

 

At present, there is a qualitative change in the study of the whole biological separation process. It is believed that we can start from two aspects. First, we should continue to study and improve some new separation technologies suitable for biochemical engineering.

 

Secondly, the efficient integration of various separation technologies is carried out. Nowadays, new cell separation technologies have emerged, such as the affinity method, two-phase water distribution technology, reverse micelle method, liquid membrane method, and various high-efficiency chromatography methods.
