Management regulations for pollution sources of farm waste

Jan. 14, 2020

1. Purpose

Ensure that the treatment of waste pollution sources in the farm meets the requirements of standards, minimize the risk of harmful substances pollution, and ensure food safety, personnel safety and environmental safety.

2. Scope

This procedure is applicable to the waste pollution source management of all farms directly under the company's management, as well as cooperative suppliers and sub contracted planting farms.

3. Classification of waste and pollution sources

(1). Waste classification

Farm waste mainly includes domestic waste and production waste, and domestic waste mainly includes solid waste, kitchen waste, waste water and waste liquid, etc. The production waste mainly includes crop residue waste, planting input waste, packaging waste, mechanical equipment waste, etc.

(2). Classification of pollution sources

According to the types of pollution sources, they can be divided into air pollution, water pollution, solid waste pollution, noise pollution and radiation pollution.

The pollution sources of vegetable farms mainly include the pollution of pesticides, fertilizers, waste packaging materials of vegetables, the pollution of pesticide solution and fertilizer loss, the pollution of inputs such as mulch, drip irrigation, bamboo and wood materials, steel wire, sling, etc. used in production, the pollution of waste parts and oil products of machinery and equipment, the pollution of domestic and production wastewater, the pollution of poultry, livestock and wild animals, etc.

4. Waste and pollution source treatment method

(1). Recycling

Recyclable wastes include waste paper (writing paper, corrugated paper), waste plastic (mulch film, packaging bottle, packaging bag, packaging box, turnover basket, drip irrigation belt, etc.), waste metal (agricultural machinery accessories, shed framework, furniture and building materials, etc.), waste electronic products (computers, mobile phones, home appliances, etc.), waste bamboo wood, waste glass This kind of recycling is carried out by manufacturers, professional recycling agencies or waste purchase stations.

(2). Fermentation and decomposition

Fermentable and decomposable wastes include plant residues, kitchen waste water, human and animal waste, spoiled food The residue and biogas liquid after fermentation can be applied to the field soil or green seedlings as organic fertilizer. Without affecting the second crop, the last crop residue can be directly ploughed into the farmland.

(3). isolation

Pollution sources that need to be isolated include pesticides, fertilizers, oil products, waste water Such substances need to be stored in special facilities and supervised by special personnel. The waste pesticides shall be recycled by the supplier. The waste water shall be treated in wasteland and green area far away from the farm, and the local environment shall not be damaged.

(4). incineration

Pollution sources that need to be incinerated include waste oil, non recyclable packaging For a small amount of this kind of material, it can be safely burned away from the farm and ensure that the local environment is not damaged.

(5). landfill

Pollution sources that need to be landfilled include waste ceramics, animal carcasses, building debris Such non recyclable materials shall be transported to designated places for landfill.

5. Management requirements for farm waste and pollution sources

(1). Domestic wastes, plant residues and other wastes shall be stored in designated places and cleaned regularly.

(2). The waste box with cover must be set up in the open field to prevent the bad smell from overflowing, and the waste shall be removed in time. The waste box shall be cleaned and disinfected once a week, and cleaned twice a week in summer.

(3). The product handling area and packing box storage area in the farm shall be kept clean and pollution-free.

(4). The living areas (dormitories, kitchens, restaurants, toilets, etc.) in the farm shall be separated from the planting areas in a reasonable or sufficient space to avoid pollution to agricultural products.

(5). It is strictly prohibited to bring glass, iron wire, hard plastic, ceramics and other items to the planting operation area in the farm. The window glass, hard plastic and other items in the living and product processing area shall be pasted with film to prevent splashing after breaking. Employees who have direct contact with agricultural products shall not wear clothes with metal, glass or plastic buttons, and shall not wear clothes with metal sheets, glass or plastic ornaments. It is forbidden for the operating staff to store small and broken articles in the pocket of the clothes, such as knives, metals, plastics and other foreign matters, including small metals, ornaments made of plastics, hairpins and other hard plastic products, so as to prevent potential safety hazards from falling into the vegetable balls.

(6). In the process of planting production, the glasses, porcelain cups, porcelain bowls, etc. used by employees shall be stored outside the planting area to prevent the broken pieces from wrapping into the vegetable balls, which may cause potential safety hazards.

(7). In the planting area, plant residues, weeds or diseased plants must be removed, buried or burned in time; herbicides shall not be used for grass on the edge of the field after planting.

(8). Agricultural machinery and other production equipment shall be stored in a centralized way to avoid the pollution and harm of chemicals to vegetables, such as the pollution caused by leakage of diesel oil and engine oil. If there is any contaminated vegetables, they shall be discarded and not used any more, and the record form shall be filled in.

(9). Fences, fences and other isolation facilities shall be set up around the farm to prohibit pigs, chickens, cattle, sheep and other livestock from entering the planting area; there shall be obvious signs in the farm to prevent the pollution of vegetables by the feces discharged and the harmful bacteria carried by the farm itself.

(10). The farm shall be provided with obvious signboards, and irrelevant personnel such as children shall not be allowed to enter the planting area, so as to avoid uncontrollable health and safety hazards caused by children playing or outsiders.

(11). Farm personnel should always pay attention to the activities of birds over the farm. In the seasons and areas with frequent activities of birds, measures such as manual driving, flag planting and protective net covering should be taken to prevent the damage of birds and the pollution of bird droppings. Check the crops planted on the farm in time, and take cleaning measures for the polluted crops, especially check carefully before harvesting.
